Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your first chance to make a great first impression on buyers before they enter your home. The pluses and minuses that jump out at buyers create their first thoughts about your house and how you keep up your home's regular maintenance. Understanding this helps us to decide what measures we can take to entice buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with touched up paint and bright greenery we'll need to address those as well. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers envision themselves hanging out in your living room, relaxing in your master bedroom or studying in your home office? We want your house to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of easy living. I'll help you accomplish this by recommending changes that highlight the features of your home. I'll advise you reduce the effect of pieces that give the illusion of clutter. Tabletops should be cleared off. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' artwork should get stored away too. We need to "neutralize" the house so buyers can perceive it as their new home.
Every room gets a once-over. Enhancements that directly impact your sale price include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should get removed, rooms that need neutral paint, carpet that needs changing, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
Working together, we'll make sure your house has mass appeal and that it's friendly, staying away from "offensive" or "can't-work-with" shades on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can think about renting furnishings. The goal is for your house to look homey as opposed to barren.

Setting the Stage You'll know when it's time to show your house, because all of the improvements mesh together to paint a picture of what buyers can envision after they choose to buy your house. To eliminate shadows a mood changer and we'll draw back curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look at your home and make sure a pleasant aroma flows from every area. We'll incorporate cozy-looking throws, and throw pillows on your sofa and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your current place is their future home. |
